Mrs Jennifer West Moore and her handsome Groom on their wedding day! We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer to find her dream dress and were able to help her do that in a short three months she had to plan her big day! She was so kind and wrote a beautiful review on The Knot, and shared some beautiful photos of her in her Justin Alexander ball gown.

10 Winter Wedding Ideas

Our friends from The Knot have came up with 10 new and fresh ideas to reinvent the typical winter wedding.

1.) Wedding Colors: Consider a less-is-more approach to your color palette: Silver and white with crystal accents can add some serious glamor to your winter wedding. For your ceremony, try a white velvet aisle runner trimmed with white satin ribbon, or decorate the altar with a crystal curtain backdrop adorned with hanging strands of elegant white phalaenopsis orchids. If you're exchanging vows outdoors, get your guests in on creating the ambiance by giving out clear umbrellas to friends and family members as they arrive.
2.) The Flowers: Consider fuller flowers, such as white hydrangeas and soft ranunculuses. Add sparkle to your bouquet by wrapping the stems in ribbon embellished with crystals...........

Yes that time has come again and before we know it that white stuff will be falling from the sky and those football fields will be nothing but a blanket of snow. But thankfully that day is not today but, could be tomorrow (hey we live in Ohio, anything is possible). Our Lavender girls have pulled every thread of school spirit from their closets and that of their neighbors to put together two remarkably spirited windows. The Weekend Recap

This past weekend was quite a busy and exciting one at Lavender bridal. Saturday the salon took part in “Painting the Downtown Pink” to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We offered cookies and cosmos to our clients for a small donation as well as had a raffle for a pink goodie bag. A big thanks goes out to Mary Taralla and her sweet tradition cookies, they were a huge hit for a great cause. Also congratulations goes out to Brittany Geers for winning out Raffle prize. We hope you enjoy your pink goodies. With all of our in store activities, we were able to raise 300 dollars for the Susan G. Koman Passionately Pink for The Cure. We hope our contribution will help researchers come one step closer to finding a cure.

Sunday, our Lavender girls took part in the Today’s Bride show at the Sheraton Suites in Akron Ohio. We were excited to showcase all of the Fall’s hottest fashions in bridal, bridesmaids, mother’s and flower girl apparel. Between our gowns in the style show, galleria of gowns, and at our booth, brides were able to get taste of all that we have to offer. We were quite excited with all of the positive response we received from all the interested brides. We look forward to meeting with all of them again and assisting in finding the perfect gown for them and their party.
